NEWS
Coming up to the end of the year and as the fires ares toked ofr the chesnuts and shop doorways ring to the sound of screaming schildren, so must come to end to this musica year. I've had a good one, and recently have enlisted the help of Ben Wilsker and Matt Fisher to put some songs into a live band. Browens back in October was the debt and we've been working on polishing a good performance since then looking to hit the circuit with a vengeance next year. I've had some great feedback on my music from the help of Caragan and know what direction I'm going for the new year. So thanks to everyone for their support over this last year, keep checking the Myspace for new songs and updates and in the words of the great Andy Williams...It's the most wonderful time of the year! Enjoy your Chrimbo one and all, I'm off to get all teary and listen to the beautiful noise of some Neil Diamond!
Goodnight!

Well this has to be the poorest kept website in the world. Unfortunately I've been sort of busy doing other webs for other folk and this has somewhat fallen by the wayside. However I do have something to show for the fruits of my labour...three songs that are now finished with full band, orchestra, bells (cow) and whistles (no really, there is!). There are three more on the way and hopefully many more to follow. Many many thanks got to Matt Fisher of the might What about Cube? and Gaz Mayor as great inspiration. These will be up shortly on the media section however you can have a listen at www.myspace.com/martinlander for those of you who can't wait.
Also I suppose there is the new look to be had. This is to co-inside with the Intermission EP which is hotly on it's way to the many people who've requested it and further still. Anyway check back here fo further updates I'll try and keep this going and updated regulalry...otherwise there's bugger all point really in visiting really! Marketing operations isn't my strongest point!
Catcha soon

All a bit quiet recently, but hold the front page! I now after having looked around a billion guitar shops and scared various shop assistants with the opening few bars of 'Stairway' (not only because it's the whole PRSA rubbish, but because I also can't play it very well!), I've finally settled on a new guitar named Herman... a Yamaha achtop that sounds proper sweet. Watch this space I'll be gigging with him proper soon. Now to grow a quiff....

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!
Well hey there pop pickers.....you may have noticed the lack of noise around this area recently, well that's because I've been keeping a low profile recently. At the moment I'm trying to juggle time having just bought a house, giggin, practicing, writing, work, moving out of my old house, and generally just life! So for the while things have gone a bit quiet but never fear as I'm currently (in between juggling t'other stuff) working my music into band format and so if you're patient then I'll be back hopefully mid-march april time ready and raring to gig! If however you fancy offering a gig in the meantime, I'm never one to let anyone down!!! However thanks for visiting, have a look around and I'll see you again very soon!! TTFN

Well hallo there! Played a few great gigs recently, was a little apprehensive at first as these venues are still relatively new to me, but a great crowd in attendence at both made for a great atmosphere and got a proper buzz from playing each. Looking forward to a quiet month in February and the two all-dayers coming up on the 11th February. Make it to either if you can.

Lazy Lazy Lazy! Sorry people it's been so long since I've updated this now I feel like a bit of a bum as you've no real reason to to check it! You'll have to bear with me for a while as I'm in the midst of moving and have all the excitment that comes with that....such as shopping for curtains! And unforunately being in the position where I don't even have roadies...neither do I have web-monkeys to do this for me hence....slacker! But I'll be sure to keep this bit and the GIGS page up to date and as for the rest.....well....aha I have a bonus card up my sleeve and it's gonna have a massive face lift very soon! Thanks for sticking with me!

So there is a point to all this Myspace thing. For the longest time I've been logging on thinking it's some kind of dating agency and getting scared off by 'Britney', who I think has been a 'cool new person' for about a year! So have a look at www.myspace.com/martinlander and spacehop you way around to hear some great music!

Getting ready for the gig El Colly...debut too should be a good one! Had a fantastic time in Birmingham last night at the Old Moseley Arms in Balsall Heath! What a fantastic venue with a brilliant and appreciative crowd....people that actually go out to watch music! Rather than make a whole heap of noise! Brilliant atmosphere, special thanks to everyone who made it and extra special thanks to Tony for doing the sound, but mostly Mr Peter Reeve for organising the evening. Check out the GIGS page for new dates!

Oh no...so it's been a while but my what a busy while it's been. Where do I start? Well first and foremost Jimmy Franks was fantastic, a delightful young Gent that made my trip to the Beeb one to remember. The road-crew and me had a fantastic time on the show thanks to Tony at Loop Promotions for organising it all, and to everyone who stayed up late and listened in, your support is most appreciated.
I've also played some other great gigs across Coventry and Brum so thanks to all who made it. I've also started doing some proper recording with Matt Fisher from What About Cube? who's being really great and helping me come up with a proper demo so put a note in your diarys for the next couple of weeks to get them fresh off the press! Check out the links page for more local chappies and bands that have been added to the roster and as always the gigs page for up to the date news breaking info. TTFN

Man do I have a headache! Whitefriars as always was a great gig as always....and in addition to that so was the many pints of beer consumed afterwards including some evil Red Stoke Cider! That's the last time I let the barman decide what I'm drinking! Thanks to everyone who hauled theirs asses out for the gig, see them on crimewatch next month for indecent exposure!! Get it? No fine! Special thanks to those aswell who made it to the Cambell before-hand too, troopers to the cause!!! See you all soon! x

Played in good old Birmingham on Friday at The Liggers Tavern a warming little venue, that what it lacks in size it more than makes up for in atmosphere! There was a constant buzz all night, friendly and brilliantly organised by Tony of Loop Promotions. They were even too polite to point out that I was out-of tune for half the set....bless 'em! Still the gig went well and I'm looking forward to getting back there....guitar in tune this time!
